How much screen time is appropriate for my toddler?

The AAP recommends no more than 1 hour per day of high-quality programming for children ages 2–5, and co-viewing with a parent whenever possible. Focus on interactive, educational content rather than passive viewing, and avoid screens during meals and before bedtime. If your child is under 2, the recommendation is to avoid screens entirely except video calls. Consult your pediatrician for personalized guidance.
