Does it matter how I dress my baby or what colors I choose for their nursery?

Color choices and clothing styles have no impact on your baby's development or future gender identity — they're cultural preferences, not developmental influences. Dress your baby in whatever you like, and don't stress about gendered expectations from others. What matters far more is responsive caregiving, warmth, and interaction. If relatives comment on your choices, a simple 'All colors are for all babies' is sufficient. Focus your energy on bonding, feeding, and sleep rather than gendered aesthetics. Discuss any concerns with your pediatrician.
