How much milk should my toddler drink?

After age 1, toddlers should have about 16–24 oz (2–3 cups) of whole milk per day. Too much milk can fill them up and reduce their appetite for solids, and may lead to iron deficiency. Switch to low-fat milk after age 2 unless your doctor advises otherwise.
