Which foods are common allergens I should know about?

The top allergens are milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, fish, shellfish, and sesame. Current guidelines actually encourage early introduction of allergenic foods (around 6 months) as this may reduce allergy risk. Introduce them one at a time and watch for reactions.
